Crafted meticulously with wooden blocks, this toy block table boasts a sleek flat tabletop juxtaposed with an icicle-like structural motif that gracefully extends into its legs. Leveraging the inherent colours and patterns already ingrained within the blocks, a spirited amalgamation is orchestrated. This artistic vision seamlessly extends into the table's legs, where an intentional gradient emerges: as proximity to the ground increases, the design transitions to incorporate more exposed, natural wooden blocks, creating a visual continuum and inviting individuals to sit on the floor, serving as an adult-friendly playing surface or fostering leisurely conversations over a shared cup of tea.
The table was accompanied in presentation by envelopes containing illustrated retellings of the interviews conducted during the collection of blocs, seconhand toys from the trading platfom Marktplaats.
