The Weather's Dollars is a publication navigating the controversies, technologies and industries making up the intricate network of the weather industry through a case study on Australia. A central objective is to depict a comprehensive picture of a system where interconnected agents exert significant influence on one another yet are rarely seen as connected.
"The Weather's Dollars" 's multidimensional and immersive approach, with currently three issues respectively exploring political manoeuvrings, impacts on industries and extreme weather events, makes it engaging and accessible to general readers and aims to trigger a curiosity around the entangled connections between weather and the broader socio-economic landscape. Through folded lines acting as the main axis of action around which the narratives develop, the project has evolved into an activist endeavour aimed at unravelling the layers and intricacies of weather and its connection to financial systems in Australia.
